To complement all my traveling gear, I bought a notepad – my first non-Mac computer ever. You can’t beat the portability and price combination with these little toys, and I have been going back and forth with it for a while. Although I usually stick it among clothes, it has been asking me for a cover of its own, and so I made this.

I made it using this tutorial, which I found gave a nice and well-finished result. The outside fabric was bought in a quilt shop in New York, I forget the name now. I bought the lining fabric in India, it is a rough cotton that gets soft and light once it’s washed, but I didn’t wash it all when I brought it back because I wanted it to keep the smell of India.
